Hello All Scheduleflow, Schedulers and Tech’s.
I have been remiss in not providing regular and good feedback on what we are doing back of office on the product developement. We have by far the best customers in the World, from US, to NZ, to UK and we value you greatly. When we are quiet we are working, but it is no excuse not to keep you all up todate. So this is the first post, to start a trend of at least a weekly update on what we are working on and any interesting stories or experiences we have had this week.
To start off one of the stories, we have a Customer Marty in the NT who uses Scheduleflow to phenominal effect, while travel across the Kimberleys to Cape your and all the places between, checking fire extingushes and equipement, he is a true marvel in the distance he pulls off each week, it is staggering. He has requested a feature with another great customer Eamon, to improve our Reminder SMS and Email featuree, which right now only supports one template, but we are working on a solution to support more than one template for each person. So that is the story.
A key feature we have spent many months working on is to improve the Quoting and Invoicing and purchase Order flows. to make it easier to edit invoices, to add jobs to invoices, to add Tax Inclusive and Exclusive amounts to Invoices to just make the overall process much easier. This has unfortantely turned out to be bigger than Ben Hurr, as it touches many parts of the system, but we are well over the hardest parts and are shortly going to release the first part of this work.
The other feature we are working on which will improve things for everyone is our little yellow hover box which allows you to change a job’s status, and the tech’s on a job, we are adding an ability to change the date and time of that job, to cut down the number of clicks. especially if working from the map view, you will be able to re-assign a job to a different tech and day straight from the map.
