To address each of your comments I’ve copied across your email. Particularly flexible recurring jobs features and also an integration to Xero.
On it I can book permanent recurring jobs or casual jobs, with different recurring intervals up to several months.
PT: Unlimited future recurring. But not really a big difference, more FYI.
The jobs include all the customer detail, including the price and payment. The jobs remain on file, even when completed or cancelled, so that if a customer returns after a period I can just click and get all the details up.
PT: Yes Price and Payment can be recurred. Yes they always are on file, even when completed or cancelled. Yes you can click on any job and can see all the previous jobs for that customer in History-customer on the Job details page.
I can get totals of work completed, or booked for any period past or future.
PT: Yes via an excel export, and some reports do this but we may have to do a custom report for you, normally $100 if it is very specialised, otherwise if it is going to be a really useful generic one we will just do it, as reports are on our near term, next couple of months roadmap.
The customer list includes ACTIVE, CANCELLED, BAD DEBTORS and TRANSFERRED (to another franchisee). So only the active customers show on the main list.
PT: We would add a custom field you can do this from settings, Called Status:ACTIVE, CANCELLED, BAD DEBTORS, TRANSFERRED. so they are searchable, but they would appear if you enter them in and show their status, you can filter them out in the search but they are all there.
The jobs show up on a diary which I can check backwards for years and forward for a few months, I haven’t tried for any longer.
PT: Yes. as far forward and backwards as you care to look :).
Sometimes the recurring jobs have to be changed for weather, operational requirements or customer cancellation, but I still have the ability to keep the recurring appointments.
PT: Yes we specialise in this really powerful splitting and separating of recurring jobs. so you can move all following or just one to a different time.
There is no time schedule for the jobs, only the number in a day. I can set the order in which they are done. Having to fit into time slots is actually inconvenient.
PT: So this is a not exactly, as we do require a time, but many customers just ignore the time, and use it as an ordered list, that is totally fine it is drag and drop and you can set default job length to be 30min or 15 and just treat it as you are requesting, many customers do with no problems.
The main thing I would like to be able to do is have the assets of the system I am using, but a seamless connection to Xero invoicing so that I know if an invoice has to be generated.
PT, Yes you can send invoices straight through to Xero as Draft Invoices and then manage them from there.
Also is your system designed as an APP or a website. The difference being is that an App is easier to download from a smartphone in the field.
PT: we have an Android app, but are just finalising our iOS Apple app it is completed but about 3 weeks from deploying as we have to go to the App store. you can book make it to your home page and it remembers username and password and the web app right now behaves similar to an App. I’m happy to help you get this setup, until the iOS app is ready.
